How’s it going everyone, new to the group and brought in by a buddy. I’m a Marine out in NC curious about the EMS and drones . More specifically DFing pilots. The intent is to just DF the pilot and use 2 or 3 people total with equipment attached to them to be able to eventually get a grid on the pilot. I’m able to identify drone protocol and center myself on the waterfall to the transmitting pilot controller in a clean environment and use equipment to DF and get an azimuth but of course when I add the drone to the link, the uplink and downlink from the drone and controller are throwing my readings off Hoping some guys much smarter than me have done something like this so I don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Much appreciated!
